Following the initial visit, our Russian customer returned to our company for a second round of technical discussions and sample evaluation.
During the visit, the customer discussed coating colors, process parameters, and equipment operation in greater detail with our technical team. Based on the customer’s product requirements, both sides also reviewed the coating process and the factors that may affect the final coating results.

During the sample evaluation, a few localized areas showed coating imperfections. Before coating, our technical team had carefully cleaned the samples with industrial alcohol. After analyzing the results, the team explained that residual oil or contaminants within the product structure may be released during the vacuum heating process. This type of outgassing can affect the uniformity and quality of the coating in localized areas.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of thorough pre-treatment and degreasing before PVD coating, especially for products with complex structures or potential internal contamination.
Following the technical discussion, the customer planned to carry out further inspection and pre-treatment checks on their samples. They may also send additional samples to our company for further coating tests and process evaluation.
